KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A heavy police presence was reported at Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo earlier this morning, but it appears now that there is no danger.
WWMT showed video of dozens of emergency vehicles at the school near the corner of E. Kilgore Rd. and Lovers Lane. The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a malfunctioning motor inside the building had triggered an alarm and that there was no threat to the school.
By 6:00 a.m., crews were already leaving the scene.
